I'm not quite sure why, but this has been really disconcerting to me. It's not like the times on the four faces ever even matched!
I think they are finally getting around to repairing the clocks that aren't working.
Two years ago, they performed an extensive restoration of the stonework of the tower and perhaps the structure inside as well.
If a stopped clock is right twice a day, then is a clock with no hands always right?
